The abstract should be submitted along with the title of the paper, list of authors, and their affiliation.

Guide for Authors: Abstract Submission Guidelines

Your abstract must be a single-paragraph summary of maximum 300 words that functions as a standalone text. It should be informative, accessible, and follow this four-part structure:

  • Context & Aim: State the problem you are solving and your explicit objectives.
  • Methodology: Summarize the technical approach, data collection, or experimental setup used.
  • Primary Results: State your most important and specific quantitative or qualitative discoveries.
  • Conclusions: Detail the overarching impact, importance, or practical applications of your results.

Strict Formatting Restrictions

  • No References: Do not include or refer to table numbers, figure numbers, equations, or citations.
  • Acronyms: Spell out all acronyms and abbreviations upon their first mention.
  • Word Limit: Keep it under 300 words.

Abstract only submissions and poster presentations are also accepted.

Paper submission

Please prepare your paper in line with IOP's guidance before formatting and uploading your file:

Authors are recommended to draft their manuscript within 5,000–7,000 words, excluding references.

Please note that by submitting your full paper, you and your co-authors are deemed to accept the terms of the IOP Proceedings Publication Licence (CC BY 4.0), details of which will be shared separately.

All presenting authors are required to register for the conference; registration is what confirms your paper's place in the schedule, program, and proceedings.
