Frank Lipnizki, PhD, is full-time Professor in the Department of Process and Life Science Engineering, Division of Chemical Engineering at Lund University.
His main research focuses on separation processes, in particular membrane processes in the food, biotech, pulp and industry plus biorefineries as well as water and wastewater treatment. Within these industries his research is targeting the integration and optimisation of membrane processes as stand-alone units and as part of hybrid processes.
Additionally, he is investigating fouling and cleaning challenges faced in these industries. He is also the President of the European Membrane Society (EMS).
