Dr. Pratham Arora

Dr. Pratham Arora is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy, IIT Roorkee. His research is focused on comparative life cycle assessment, process optimization, and techno-enviro-economic analysis of different energy and environmental systems.
Prior to joining IIT Roorkee, he was a Post-doctoral fellow at the Georgia Tech., Atlanta in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department. He has completed his doctorate from IIT-Bombay-Monash Research Academy – a joint venture between IIT-Bombay, India and Monash University, Australia.
He has been working in collaboration with highly innovative sustainability focused companies such as Algenol biofuels, Lanzatech, Pontoka, Orica Mining and Global Thermostat.
